Overview
The Alexandrian Institute welcomes prospective students to the TAI Virtual Preview Day. In this 1-hr. webinar we will give an introduction to the vision of the Alexandrian Institute for the study of theology. To hear the voice of Christ in Scripture for our own time and place, we need to become wise readers of Scripture. To see our blind spots, we seek the wisdom of the Church through the ages.
We will discuss Foundations Reading Groups, Pillars Certificates, Postgraduate Degrees, and our PhD Program.
We’ll hear from current students and graduates, as well as our faculty, as we explore themes like: What is the Alexandrian project? Why should we read Scripture with the Great Tradition? What does reading and writing have to do with preparation for Christian ministry? Why should we do this together in community?
Prospective students interested in each of our levels of programs will be chosen for book giveaways.
